Christy's biographical title

Caterpillar woodcut from original Alice text.

You may well ask, as the Caterpillar asked Alice, “Who are you?”

I’m rather camera-shy, but by way of description I can tell you I look a lot like the Alice in these drawings—or at least, Alice as she might look sixty-odd years later, in modern American dress, but still young at heart.  And unlike Alice, I have been known on occasion to crack a smile or even laugh.

Like Alice, I live near the woods—actually, in a redwood forest in Northern California—and I like to go walking in the woods.  And like Alice, I’m unmarried and have a cat—a calico, who does not, however, climb trees, though I think I’ve occasionally seen her grin.  Like Alice’s biographer, I wrote for a living—but as a more modern lass, I wrote computer software manuals!

Retired now, I sing, read books on spirituality and metaphysics, do art projects including mandalas, try to keep my house tidy, am active in my reading and movie groups and of course my church. OH!.  And re-read Alice.

And—oh, yes—I lots of Alice memorabilia and decor.
