The Cypriot Knight

A novel by Helena Schrader

Cyprus, January 1251

"Now lush green valleys lay at the foot of the limestone hills brazenly spouting wild-flowers."

The Knight:

"There was no arrogance about him, much less any gallantry, and it was this which made the lady decide to trust him.",

The Lady

: "…had built barriers against disapproval, contempt, scorn and cruelty, but no defences in the world are impervious to unexpected kindness."

Two young people with pasts they would rather forget meet by chance. They have been shaped and scarred by the Templars and the Cathars, the Crusades and the Inquisition. This is their story. It is a story of shaken faith, lost illusions, and new found hope.

This novel is now out of print. A second edition is in preparation. If you would be interested in receiving notification when the novel is again available for order please send me an email at: novels@helena-schrader.com.
