Urban
Life
Constricted
by a growing indiffernce
I
longing recall
The
sweetness of pain
Self
flagellation
An
envelope of sensation
Each
wound an affirmation
Re-assurance
that I do exist
That
if unable to touch
I
can still be touced
Pain
to truncate the distance
A
bridge to the world
A
bridge that has collapsed
Leaving
me derelict
In
an alien world
Limbless,
struggling to grasp
Hope
and promise
The
possiblilty that love might
Be
something mor
Than
an imagined ideal
i
reject this sterile dream
And
wait in unmoving silence
The
retrun of madness
That
endless nightmare
Called
reality
Where
even my blood flowing
Releses
only hollow
Empty
screams
