Katherine
Whenever
you come near me
and
hold me with your eyes
the
stillness: a mountain meadow
sweeps
in and fills my heart
Fullness
of the earth and sky
Sweet
tang of crystal springs
and
in your voice the songs
of
birds that bring to mind
a
sunbathed world
in
shades of deeper green
You
touch my soul with fingers
that
endless ripples bring
Whenever
you come near me
and
hold me with your eyes
the
stillness: a mountain meadow
sweeps
in and fills my heart
