Flavorless Observations

It's odd how all the nourishment
All the comfort and warmth
The goodness I see so clearly
Surrounds yet is not part of
The world that is me
It's not so distant as a ring
Behind double paned glass
Nor so near as the wind
As it ruffles my hair
It's an occurence recalled
Not a memory lived
It's the dividing line
Between darkness and light
Food providing only sustenance
Fuel prolonging the sense of absence
Where I am a wrong
In a world
Where everyone else is a right
