Elysium Gates, Inc. has financially committed 10% of profits for Elysium Gates Foundation. The Foundation creates:

    •  scholarships
    •  promotion of the arts
    •  support for community charitable causes
      (voted on by area)
    •  emergency funds for individuals and families
    •  the promotion of volunteerism
Elysium Gates Foundation polled the members of Observatory for what charitable cause they would like to support.  Observatory members chose to support "Breast Cancer Prevention/Research/Cures".  There are organizations around the world that work to eliminate and cure this dreadful disease.  But these beneficial organizations are dependant on you for their existence.  Get involved.

Here are some tips on how to support Breast Cancer Prevention/Research/Cures:

  • Raise awareness about Breast Cancer resources!  From wearing a pink ribbon, to buying pink ribbon US postage stamps, to putting a pink ribbon on your page...all these things help make people aware.  Don't forget also to consider talking to your friends.
  • Click the Care2.com link below.  Someone is diagnosed with breast cancer every 24 seconds.  Eliminate environmental causes of breast cancer & stop this epidemic!  Click today--every step counts.   Then consider putting the link on your own web page and clicking it every day!
  • Daily visit the Breast Cancer link below.  43,000 women will die this year from breast cancer.  Help fund free mamograms for underpriveleged women.  Click today --you may be saving a life!   Then consider putting the link on your own web page and clicking it every day!
  • Get the word out about your local Breast Cancer resources!  Newspapers, radio and TV will give free space and air time for community announcements.  Remember they often need two weeks advance notice before printing or media so that it can be fit in their schedules.  Be sure to check with the media in your area well in advance for how to apply for such services.
  • Organize a fundraiser, walk a thons are something the whole community can get involved in and usually draw a lot of media coverage.
  • Many of the Breast Cancer organizations would love your volunteer help in many different ways.  See if anything on this list appeals to you, then call your local agency and offer to help:
    • Volunteer to drive people for mamograms/treatments.
    • Help take care of a person dealing with Breast Cancer
    • Clerical help
    • Hostess a support group
