Sweet Home
I
used to be so young
so
full of vibrant life
Could
never be restrained
Parentally
guided or contained
Lacking
in experience
Knowledge
but a seed
Lived
for the moment
schemed
for that hour
When
I could shape and mold
a
world all my own
I
used to be so young
So
very full of life
Out
from dawn to dawn
Never
wanting to go home
But
now that I am older
I
am so very much alone
The
hour now is early
Long
ago having passed late
And
I wish
so
one and only
I
wish I could go home
