Starting a Lions Club and running one has many expenses.  Since we are new we have no money in a bank account to fund our initial year of operation.  Established Lions Clubs have a tradition of giving new clubs money as a gift, to help them for their first year.  Pajaro Lions donated $500!  As you can see by the photos, our officers get down on bended knees in thanks and appreciation *grin*
