"Adopting" creatures on the net is fun.   Of course my first adoptions had to be ladybugs!  If you see an "adopted" graphic you like, and the site is still "on-line", then you can just click it and you will magically be transported to an adoption facility so you can get one too!  Some creatures one can adopt have birth certificates, and very interesting life stories.  Some people create entire sites, with each page a room and activity for their cyber creature to live in.
