Dear Lady Bug Princess, When I was in the second grade, I had a lovely teacher named Mrs. Johnson. She looked a lot like Marlo Thomas (ask your mom – this was back in 1969 or so, when “That Girl” was really popular on TV) and she wore bangly bracelets and really cute dresses. I was in her reading class and I was really shy most of the time except when called on to read aloud. Then I was not so shy. Anyway, she called me Lady Bug! She is the only teacher I ever had to give me a nickname, and it was the nicest nickname a little girl could ever hope for. This is probably not trivia for your web site, but I couldn’t resist bugging you with it. It was a good memory for me to have today. Made me smile. So, lady bugs MUST be good luck.
